Don't be shy when considering a grey market lens from Adorama (or B&H). Adorama's grey market Canon lenses may as well be USA versions. Adorama provides the same 1-yr warranty that Canon USA does and their customer service is just as good. And as far as the actual lens itself, it's the exact same lens.

$1,899 is a very good price if you're in the market for this lens. If you're in the same position I'm in, and you can wait for a very long time, you might be able to get this lens for $1,799-$1,849 when a super deal rolls around, but there's no guarantee this will happen anytime soon! If you want this lens now, I would not pass up this price.

Hmmm, I'm not sure. I just searched their FAQs and did a pretty extensive Google search and i couldn't find an answer. Your best bet is to email Mr. Rebates directly for a sure-fire answer.
