Try coming back at a time of day when the light is softer. Shots at high noon tend to have blown highlights and deep shadows.

Trying cropping from right to where Alpaccas start, this way they wont be centered.. Early or late day light, will yield better results.

Looks like those Alpacca's were just sheared..

Nice shots of one of my favorite animals. Winter is coming to Ohio I got out my alpaca\wool blend sweater and scarf last week No polar fleece for me.
