Hey guys,

I've been experimenting with off camera flash, and I seem to get a couple solid photos out of my shoots... it takes me some time to find a really cool setup but I usually get there. Also, I'm still learning backgrounds and model direction for sure. If there's something better I could do while shooting go for it, too.

I need some tips on post processing. My office has a photo lab I can get access to with all sorts of software I can use after hours, so feel free to recommend some. But I would need to do it myself, so the more detail the better (though I can look up tutorials and stuff).

This is just through lightroom, boost a little clarity and contrast, add a little vignette, that's about it. I lightened eyes a little but I'm not sure I'm doing it right. The model closes her eyes a lot when concentrating. More pics coming.

It seems too contrasty to me. When I first looked at it, I was going to comment that you try shooting at another time of day because the light is too harsh. But you say you used a flash. It still looks like the light was too harsh.

I did use flash as a backlight. Unfortunately, both of our schedules are pretty busy and the day we shot happened to be very clear, it's south facing so 3/4 of the day the sun is right on that spot.
