Caught this little fellow by pure luck. Its surroundings and is coloration made him almost invisible. I was following another bird when he appeared in my viewfinder.

The focus seems to be more on the tail than the head. Very nicely done though.

Yeah noticed that too. He took me by surprise and after the pic he turned around and went away. My guess is I caught him moving his head. Next pic of him was completely blurred with him getting up in the air. The 7D is fast but birds are faster sometimes......LOL!

Yeah, it could be the head movement. Nice post, nice colors, all in all a very decent photo :)
