I was blessed to witness and photograph this moment. 5D3 at 700mm, handheld (yeah..my arms were getting really tired after 300 frames).

Terrific captures! The first thing that occurred to me was how fat, or fluffy, his legs are.

Those are killer,Killer shots My wife and I did an RT years back getting a young squirrell. I stayed with him for near 200 frames at 20 feet hearing the breaking ofthe body. She bailed. Kept thinking you'll never see this again Haven't yet. Ain't nature great?

Beautiful images. The more I see of pictures from the new 5D Mark III, the more I want one.....and I'm broke!
