I knew this would happen sooner or later. It was just a matter of time.

The software is still far from perfect, but give it a few more years, and we'll be able to pull relatively sharp images from slightly missfocused shots.

This feature will probably be perfected and available in Photoshop CS8. In CS9 for sure.

I swear i saw an adobe event video where they showed a beta of this technology that would be available in photoshop, cs6 I assumed at the time. Before it ran the deblurring filter it even showed an image that depicted the movement the lens made during the camera shake. i will try and find the video beacuse its well hard to explain

Wow! Just wow! And that is just an early prototype. :)

This thing will open up a new world of possibilities for slower shutter speeds.

Rainn Wilson (external link) (aka Dwight from The Office) was the emcee of the “sneaks” portion of the Adobe MAX (external link) conference in Los Angeles, CA – a place where developers, designers and digital artists meet to get inspired.
After watching blurry text, restored to clear, legible font Rainn made a suggestion to the executive team sitting in the front row.
Rainn: “You should do this in the next Photoshop…People will really…seriously, I’m just a chump. People will really like this. People will love it.”

The photoshop video is fixing motion blur, that program is fixing OOF blur, slightly different?

And Adobe started out with a clean image, blurred it themselves, then reversed the blur.

They got caught cheating a little, even so it was impressive.

Awesome software but slow, at least on my machine. It's probably best to get it right in the camera for a little while longer.

Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here (external link). Cursing at your worse-than-a-map reflector? Check out this vid! (external link)

These features have been out in Focus Magic (which I've used with some limited success which varies with each picture) for years.
