I know Road Atlanta pretty good...but every year you put at least one shot out there that really makes me try to think of where it was taken from...this time it is #2...my only guess is that was taken from driver left at 7, as the car has already gone past the apex...if thats not where it is, I dunno...

nice work as usual. That looks like a nasty little impact for the Dyson car, I assume that is one of the Dyson cars.

You're right... standing between 6 and 7 on driver's left. Car is just coming off the apex. The shot had to be altered a bit this year due to sponsor tent signs in the grass.

That's Dempsey in the wall. :)

Thanks!

JT

why anyone would put him in a Prototype car is beyond me...he is not that great in a GT car...

Your vision of the track continues to impress...especially knowing that you are not a huge racing fan or a former driver.

Another set of great shots John! Was Dempsey driving at that time? I remember being in 10a/b and seeing that car go by with the front right not even turning and thinking WTH happened? I love the last shot of the BMW with a mouthful of grass! I think I have a few of him and one of the Ferraris enjoying a healthy diet of Georgia Bermuda grass.

It was Patrick. He was coming out of turn 7 and another car got turned around in front of him. In an effort to avoid the other car, he got turned around and ended up in the wall. Not really his fault.

The rear 3/4 of the Nissan in #2 is really nice.
