A few more from me. Tried a bit higher ISO (1600) and followed Team Speed recommendations to deal with it in PP. Let me know what you think of them.

They work for me. It looks like old school grain from the film days. I especially like the last photo, its a really nice combination of brightness, contrast and colors between the crow and the background. I also like the angle of the crow and the direction of his gaze in comparison to the angles and diagonal lines of the background and foreground.

Very good shots...Noise isn't too bad and I'd imagine that the higher shutter speed really makes life easier...You're hand holding aren't you?

Almost. the camera is tripod supported but I maintain the head loose so I can move freely. I experimented with the OS OFF and ON. These were off. I guess the OS needs to be ON. Honestly when in a tripod the OS does not do much but apparently no ill effect is noted when ON. My guess is that it can be left ON while on the tripod.

I tried a bit of more NR but it looses too much detail. Light was excellent, I could have gone with ISO 400 or 800 but tried 1600 to practiced bit of NR PP and increase shutter speed.

On the fourth one, where noise is more noticeable, it was an aggressive crop since that fellow is veeery little. Noise increase in such a crop.
