Damn, if you're in the market for a G1x that is a hell of a deal.

hi,

i just received the package today, and was wondering: did your g1x's come without any plastic stickies and seals? i'm used to having films stickered all over new items, especially on the screen and stuff. but my g1x's box was unsealed (does not seem to have ever had one) and the only seal/film/sticky i see is on the cap's chord. nothing at all on the body. otherwise, everything in the package looks unopened (the battery and such are still in their plastic bags and looks untouched.)

i did find a blemish around the viewfinder, but it's not a big problem to me. i just want to know if this is possibly a return or a floor model or such.

thanks! :)

If it's like every other Canon camera I've gotten all the boxes have never had an actual seal. Just cardboard tabs.
