The sky portion overrides everything else in the picture, while the ground portion is small and indistinct. Perhaps if the sun had been somewhat closer to the surface when you shot the picture it might have made for a better subject. I tried several different crops with this picture, but couldn't come up with any that (to my eye) improved the picture. Maybe its what you don't see that is the focus.
