Do you have the original to show us? I always like seeing the difference HDR can make. Agreed. NIce image and I'd like to see the original as well. I like to process single raws a lot of times when I have trouble with ghosting, etc. 5DIII | 40D | 17-40 f4L | Tamron 28-75 2.8 | 50 1.4 | 70-200 2.8L | Oly Zuiko 50 macro | Tamron 1.4x

LVMoose Moose gets blamed for everything. More info | Oct 29, 2012 07:50 | #12 This second HDR image (the one with the cables removed) looks better than the first; highlights aren't as blown in the tops of the trees and in the clouds; actually the whole thing may be darker. I like it. STIC wrote in post #15181349

In your 'original' image the only thing that was 'lost' is the deep shadows under the trees. If you had done a 'real' HDR you would have pulled up those shadows to show the details in those areas. Your 'HDR' version didn't recover the shadow areas, and could be duplicated with the use of standard processing software such as Bridge/Photoshop. Canon 7D | 400L | 70-200L | 24-105L | Tokina 11-16
