I have a 6 year old Pentax K10D....with 1000's of shutter actuation's, still as capable as when it was new of wonderful pix. I have a new Pentax DSLR and a newer Canon and they're great, but too often I think we are quick to dismiss older cameras in this digital age as incapable, compared to their newer models.

Totally agree, a lot of fads in new cameras to make them attractive, most of which do nothing for me. My cameras take still pictures, thats what I want them for and as long as they keep doing that then I will continue to use them.
