Awesome - congrats ;)

I'm from the area originally ...

Did you get to meet the pilot?

QuibPhotography wrote in post #15193760 (external link)
Same here. I wrote sidebar articles and shot the supporting photos, did some product photography for advertising too. Then came an offer to shoot a cover for S.W.A.T., which I was a little apprehensive about. But it turned out to be fun.

I moved away from firearms and want to focus on aviation, it's my career field, so it only makes sense. Had my first photo published recently in Vertical Magazine and I'm hoping to continue in that direction with aviation as the subject.

Congrats again! Keep it up!!

Well done

Thanks again everyone for your kind words.

I have met Paco on several occasions this year, starting at the Waterloo Air Show where I was the 2IC for the Media team, then again here in Toronto, then Gatineau to close out the season here in Canada. There were two other shows in the vicinity which I didn't attend (Hamilton, CFB Borden) due to commitments at CFB Cold Lake during EX Maple Flag. I'll also be attending the ICAS convention this year, where I'm sure we'll share a pint.

Congratulations on being published in Vertical - it's a great magazine run by some first class folks. They recently celebrated their one year anniversary of their aviation magazine Canadian Skies, another quality publication.

Once again, thanks to you all for your kind words and support.

Hi everyone,

Just received the cover to the 2013 Canadian Defence Review Calender which has my shot of this years CF18 Demo jet over Niagara Falls on its cover.

The calender will be in the next issue of CDR, which is available at Chapters across Canada.

Cheers, and thanks to you all for your help and guidance in this world we all love and appreciate.

Thanks to you both for your kind words.

Yes, the calender cover photo has been featured on the CF18 Demonstration Team's Facebook wall.
