This turned up at the local airfield a couple of weeks ago, so I grabbed a few snaps...

Few snaps? Was top gear testing it on a runway or something?

Probably a bank job and a dozen year stretch. Thanks.

There was a driving experience day where you could pay to drive various pieces of exotic machinery. My son drove a Maseratti GT, a Lamborghini Gallardo and a Porsche 911 Turbo. The Bugatti was not available to drive as it was a privately owned car. However the owner let some of the guys running the fleet of cars take it out on part of the airfield for a few runs, including one drag race against their Ariel Atom 300. That engine makes an awesome noise!

Great shots!

Thanks for the comments.

Unfortunately, the Atom was "only" the 300bhp supercharged version. However it held it's own for a short while, but the Veyron just powered away from it. Straight line drag racing is not really the forte of the Atom though and given a few corners it would likely have been a very different outcome.

great shots! and nice walt disney font for your watermark. Dont plan on taking that mainstream... you could wind up in some serious trademark issues using their font without permission/ royalties.
