Hey all, here are some quick shots of a Snowy Owl that used our ship to rest on.

We were about 100+ miles offshore, so she was tired!

Not as sharp as I wouldve liked but were on a ship in the middle of Alaskan waters which arent known for being calm. :D

Pretty nice find for that Snowy. I'm sure that perch was a very welcome sight. A great find and great to be able to get a photo of this one. Thanks for sharing. Hope he makes it to dry land.:)

Very cool! I still think they should float artificial islands on the paths the hummers take to South America!

Very cool! I just watched a PBS episode of Nature about these magnificent creatures. I would love to see one in person. Nice photos!
