Creating New LR Catalogs and Settings Question

I was wondering if there was anyway to transfer export settings and published services settings to a new Lightroom Catalog?
I am using LR4 BTW.

Make your new catalog.

Then go to your OLD LR folder and copy them to the new one.

For example, I have an older catalog that contained my presets and file naming, etc. I just copied those folders to the new catalog and they were there.

I use multiple catalogs in LR4.1 and all of my export presets seem to be automatically available across all of the catalogs. Whenever I hit the export button all my saved settings are available for me to select. If I remember correctly the export module remembers any changes you make to settings between exports, I also seem to remember that these also carry across if I change the catalog.

Export setting do stay as part of lightroom. Not as part of the catalog.

However none of my publishing services cary over to new catalogs. But I never use them, so it is not to bad for me.

Hmmm. That doesnt seem to work for me.
Publishing services is a big part of my workflow since I use it for smugmug and animoto.

You're just going to have to set them up again in the new catalog.

Note: if you give your set the same name you've been using before, it simply adds to that set and not create a new, 2nd one. At least that's how it works for me on Flickr.

For example, if I have a Flickr set called Wife's Maternity on my old catalog and I create a new catalog, setup Flickr, and create another set Wife's Maternity, those images get added to Flickr's set, Wife's Maternity. A 2nd one is not created.
