Never got the big breaks that were in Chicago and farther south, but happy to be out there and witness a true washing machine. It was something to see, but my thoughts and prayers go out to the others that couldn't stand back and enjoy it, but fight it head on.  Around 4 pm:  Right at sunset:

I keep a boat in Waukegan Harbor so I have spent countless hours on the water and to see it like that was both exciting and scary. I got a few decent shots as well.
