Found this guy while out driving around with my dad. We actually found a few great horned owls but they were very skiddish. Taken with the 7d and 500mm hand held.

Let me know what you think. Not sure about the crop but I wanted to try it out.

Solid shot, I do see a slight halo around his tummy.

Thanks guys! Yes I see the halo as well. For some reason I couldn't get this picture to work with me very well.
