Not to seem insensitive to the disaster in NJ, but how is Canon handling their lens and camera service? I know most of the Northeast had their equipment sent to the Canon service center in NJ, but I'm not sure where things get sent now.

Being caught up in the storm myself I haven't thought about it, but the Jamesburg location in Central NJ (actually Dayton for GPS purposes) is only 20 minutes from my house. The area is sparsely populated by mostly modern warehouses and some smallish towns and is not near any rivers or large bodies of water. Most of the damage in central and northern NJ was wind rather than water related except for those areas, like Hoboken, near bodies of water. I would be surprised if they have power, other than from their own generators, although its possible. Phone service in central NJ is somewhat spotty. Most have it, some do not. Mark
