Fall color in the Eastern Sierras

Only spent an afternoon there, would love to go back for a backpacking trip. One of the most gorgeous areas I've been in.

Driving up Onion Valley, this tree almost looked surreal. Used a polarizer to make those colors pop a bit more.

Hiked a few miles in the John Muir Wilderness.

Same tree on the way back, with the sun down. HDR.
