So, we'd been looking for a 64 bit Mac Photoshop version of PictureCode's Noise Ninja to come out for some time. I contacted their support earlier this year & was informed that the plug-in would be part of a new product forthcoming.

Found out recently that their new product is a new RAW converter, with NoiseNinja as one of the adjustments within. I haven't had much of an opportunity to test drive the software yet.

I guess I just wanted to say that I'm really a bit disappointed. What if I'm perfectly happy with my current RAW converter? Yes, their website notes that a PS plug-in is forthcoming (in version 1.1, currently on 1.0.2), but I'm adopting a "wait & see" attitude here as I'm not overly impressed with the speed of the software. The old 32 bit plug-in would execute in a split second.

Any input from other users? Thoughts?

I used NN for several years till they did not update to 64bit for MAC. I kept hearing we are coming out with something this was 1.5 yrs ago. So I started using the noise reduction in CS5 ACR and now I really like it and integrates well with my post processing. And at this point I think Adobe is surpassing NN.
