Ok so i was out the other day shooting with my 7D using my 24-70 2.8 lens and everything was great, as soon as i put my 70-200 2.8 on i was shooting and went to review my photos on the lcd and all the photos were blurry.

So i put on a friends 70-200 and everything was again sharpe with the same setting. So i figured my lens needed to be sent in for repair. Took it in and it tested fine.

Today i put my 24-70 on again to shoot and now it don't focus at all.

Does anyone know what it could be or has it happened to you?

Really need some more ideas, my brain is going crazy tryin to figure it out!

Sometimes this happens to me. In my case it seems like the lens freezes. I manually focus then switch on auto focus and it works again.

Do you have C.Fn III-4-1 set? That can cause exactly that behavior, under certain circumstances.

how good is your tripod and head? 1/40 on a good tripod should be tack sharp but it kinda looks like motion blur to me. specially on the 175mm shot. the smooth and dry text on the bottle has cues of motion blur.
