HSS in 600ex - perm when on

Hi,
i got the ST-E3 and 2 x 600EX-RT.

how can i get the HSS to be set on these bugger permanently when these units are turn on? is it possible?

Is it not just automatic? I have never "enabled" HSS, it just turns on when over a certain shutter speed (250 on 60D). That said, I have no Mkiii or a 600EX so....

^ you have to enable the HSS by going into the menu on your master flash (or ST-E3 in this case) and clicking the button which says "Sync" under it.. if you can't see it on the menu, then click on "menu 2" or "menu 3" or whatever it says on the furthest right button.. once you can see an option saying "Sync", click that button and HSS will turn on and it will stay on until you decide to switch it off.

thanks for the input. mine seems to go off when its off and batteries are out for days.

Set in in the camera. That will over-ride and it will be in HHS all the time. At least mine do with my 1d MKIV
