Not what what I was expecting to see when I saw possum in the title... I'm used to the overgrown rat looking merchants of death (external link) we have around here..

Great shot. Caught in the act!

va_rider - these are Brushtail Possums. They are about the size of a cat, and have a nasty growl and claws! (hearing them fight each other or cats is a spine-chilling thing). And when they live in your roof space it seems like they wear steel capped boots with all the noise they make!


Currently just a P&S, but watch this space.
