WOW! I really hate to complain in my very fist post, but I had an extremely difficult time with the registering process. I was about 1 second from giving up, even though I really wanted to join this forum since I just got a Canon.
But...the image verification that is required would just not work for the life of me. The image was fairly easy to see what numbers/letters they were but it kept telling me everytime that my text did not match the image. I must have tried to register 10-15 times. I then tried to do "contact us" and that required an image verification, and once again that did not work.
I really cannot belive that I am the only one who experience this? If so...I'll feel pretty stupid hahaha, because I see these image verification things all the time and they usually work on the 1st-2nd try. Understandably sometimes the first image is unreadable, but 15 times was a bit crazy.
I really hate to know how many people try to register for here and give up because the code-text doesn't match up. Is there another method or something that can be used for it? It was just driving me nuts!!!
But anyways, I'm glad to be here FINALLY 
they also complain about it, a possible solution is to change the graphics engine which generates the image. I'll do that but not today as they require freetype support which must be compiled in server.
