Today Profoto introduced their new Rfi line of softboxes which were formerly known by the Creative Light brand name. I mention this because B&H has now got some smoking deals on their remaining inventory of Creative Light softboxes. I have the 5' octa and it is a very nice modifier. If you are thinking about picking up a high quality softbox, you can't go wrong. I expect the pricing on the new boxes will be significantly higher.

Thanks Bob.

I think RF –is for “Recessed Front” and I -is for “Improved”, but not sure what the changes are from the existing PROFOTO RF soft boxes?
(perhaps a bit deeper, directing the light further forward)?

Looks like a “HOT” motorcycle (perhaps a mint 1970's Honda 750) for “HOT BOB” in the PROFOTO RFI product video (2:49 minute):

Also enjoyed the product photography: James Bond/Skyfall shoes (3:02 minute video) using a 1DsmkIII.

Thanks again.

Mary
P.S. While quality and durable; I find the Profoto modifiers expensive & a bit stiff so I will be interested in the reviews. I bet that 5’ Octa of yours makes for lovely light coverage.
(I have the existing 1’x3’, 2’x3’ & 3’x4’ RF softboxes, 20.5” beauty-dish, grids & barn door; for 4 D1Air-500WS)
