If you have the gear, a ND filter with longer exposure would work wonders on the water.

Thanks to everyone! This was with a 5D Mk II and I think a Sigma 24-70 or a Sigma 50 1.4.
But I was standing in the river to take it with the tripod in the river. It was an overcast day, aperture stopped down just a bit and ISO low. So really, the shot was not a technical marvel, but it's beautiful I think.
