Hey - it may be not be a pro print press, but if you need some lil 4x6's printed out, it looks like Shutterfly is doing a short special that ends 11/2/2012.

101 FREE 4x6's, just pay for shipping. I just set it up, and you use the special discount code SPOOKY and it was like 7.50 for shipping. I think you can get glossy sent to wal-mart and maybe avoid shipping, but IDK. I figured 101 prints for 7.50 that its hard to go wrong.

I have a little tip on this. If you add 101 prints to your cart and then apply the coupon code, you can go back and remove a couple of the prints to make 99 prints. This will bring the shipping down from $7.50 to $4.99, which takes the price from .07 to .05 per print, which is a considerably better deal.

I've done this a couple times in the past, but I'm really not impressed with Shutterfly's print quality. The last set of 4x6's that I ordered weren't very sharp at all. They all looked kind of blurry. Next time I might try sharpening them more ahead of time.

Cool deal. 5 cents (heck even 7) isn't bad if your not looking for the highest quality stuff. Thanks for the extra savings, I would have done that...

I've used a few on line printers (on the lower end of the spectrum).

I've found AdoramaPix to be good; Shutterfly to be OK; and Snapfish to be pretty bad.

One thing Shutterfly will do is reprint if you are not happy. Pretty strong customer service mindset.

Agreed on quality. I did this last year and was appalled by the print quality. CVS does a better job.

I don't usually order small prints online. I usually print most 8x10 prints and smaller myself. When I need anything larger, I use Millers. For canvases, I wait on the Groupon deals from Canvas on Demand and then stock up on them. I just got a 24x36 that I only paid $75 for and I have a bunch of $45 16x20s.

I've never paid anything but shipping to Shutterfly on any order. I always wait until they have deals to get things for free. I've gotten six of their 8x8 hardcover photo books and a few sets of the 4x6 prints for the cost of shipping. The books are better than their prints. I think I'm going to order some tonight using the 101 free prints deal. I'll try to sharpen them a little more to see if that helps.
