Edit*
Got the bag, review and images further down.

Been looking at a few canvasbags aswell, and i stumbled upon course F1001 and F1002.
Anyone have any experience with them?

Price is good, around 40 pounds/60 dollars.

XL version

Just recieved my courser canvas messengerbag, the L version
Easily fits 3 lenses, 60D, 430 flash, cleaning kit, manuals and other things.. i could fit a ipad in there aswell.
Lot's of space... it's sturdy and well built, great material with heavy stitches in the right places.

42 pounds from Cameraworld in U.K.

No need to buy retrospective or thinktank for 3x the pricetag.

If you have the time, please do a review of the courser messenger bag with your gears in them :)

Out of curiousity would a 70-200 or 100-400 fit in there with a camera attached?

If you topload it i think so... its very deep, roughly 23cm deep (the casing).

I will take a few images this evening and give a short review.. give me a few hours.

Looks good. Looks sturdier than the ONA canvas bag... which I'm not entirely happy with anymore.

I'd suggest taking from wax to the canvas!

Ok, here is the "review".
First of, it's available in 3 different colors, sand, khaki and green, i got the green one (alot of brown in it though).
Material is sturdy thick canvas, it feels heavy and well made.. something that you could hook up between two trucks to try and break it and it would probably hold... well i'm exagerating now (and spelling bad).

Anyway, below is images with explanation:

Main compartment with velcro walls, two, but you can add more.
As you can see my 60D is laying down on the side with 50mm 1.4 attached, plenty of room for two lenses, any of my 3 lenses could be attached and fit like this.

This shows the deepth of the compartment, it's rougly 21 centimeters, toploading the 60D with 85mm still leaves alot of room until it reaches the top.

Next shows the back of the bag inbetween the compartment and the back is a rather large bag with a zipper, this can fit a few manuals, mobile, filters, keys etc.

Infront of the compartment (opposite side) you can easily fit a laptop or ipad or a few magazines.

Then we have the big pocket in front with zipper, this can fit an ipad, two camerabodies, a few flashes or whatever suits you. Fully packed it's around 8 centimeters wide/thick.

Next shows stitching, sling, buttons, and metalholdings.

Then we have one sidepocket on eachside.. for flashes or lenses (85mm USM in picture)

Next is different loading options:

Toploaded with attached 50mm and each lense in a pocket

Sideloaded

sideloaded with two lenses on top

toploaded with two lenses on top in one pocket

These loading options does not provide security for your gear, but you can add velcrowalls or other foam in both the big front pocket or inbetwen the big main compartment.
As you can see.. you can fit alot on the Large version, the XL version seemed to big and did not have the big front pocket with zipper.. for me and my gear, the L is perfect.

Really like the bag, its well built and feels like something you could take into rough terrain without having to worry if it breaks.

It looks awesome if you ask me... got a few friends who looked at both retrospective 20/30 and/or domke and they got surprised by this cheap bag and it's quality build.
I've tried the Lowepro pro messenger (overcharged like crazy) and this bag seems similiar in strenghth, quality and build.

Buy it at cameraworld: http://www.cameraworld.co.uk …ubcat_Code=392&prod_name= (external link)

Thanks for the quick review.

How wide and tall is the front pocket? Can it possibly fit a Benro travel agent diagonally (14" bottom corner to top corner)?
