eBay is another option in case you can't find a local dealer.

No, i don't want to go with eBay option for some reasons, i can go with Pelican site direct, they are great, i just thought there are some local dealers around the world such as some of big names brands, in all cases if i didn't find then i will definitely use their site.

Tareq,

If you can live with the outstanding B&W International outdoor cases which are a good match for Pelicans, try this dealer in the UAE:

United Arab Emirates

I have one case from that brand, and bought it from this store, i went there moe often, but i was thinking that maybe Pelican is a better design or brand than that B&W, but lately found that i can't buy Pelican bags online, so i lef with one choice which is maybe those B&W.

In my experience the B&Ws are a good match because they are also very rugged, dust and waterproof. The hinges as well as the clasps resist rough handling . Functional design in my view.

The optional shoulder strap is well shaped and comfortable and very firmly attached to the case (no fancy plastic clips). The backpack harness sytem offered by the brand can be an interesting option when hauling heavy gear in the larger cases over a long time on rough terrain.

Well, if i can't get Pelican as i can see then i will go with B&W bag, i have one and happy with it, use it for my film stuff, very big bag, i will see something smaller for Canon gear, i may like it sooner or later, but really when i look at Pelican bags i like the photos and design more even i have B&W bag.

I also have HPRC bag, i like this one too, small one for my digital Hasselblad gear, but i don't like the lock, the design to me looks better than that of B&W, but i didn't like the foam cutting, i prefer the paddle dividers more.

Sorry, it was not clear to me that you were talking about bags I meant the plain hardcases. No fancy design in the latter of course. but an interesting choice of colours for special purposes (signal orange or bright yellow if your gear risks a dunking in choppy waters for example). For the cases, as far as I know, you always have the choice between the foam block you can customize or the RPD version with the nicely padded velcro dividers.
