Reminds me of blown glass Renata. Nice one.

Finally getting a handle on this bubble photography.

This small bubble was at the base of the bubble above.

Love seeing the drops photos. Seeing these bubbles here has reminded. Have you ever tried dripping the H2O into a bubble? I only tried it once, but got good enough results for me to look into it further.

I had a go a little while ago, didn't get the results I was after but it was close. I didn't keep the images, but plan to have another go sometime soon. It was challenging getting the bubble to stay where you wanted it :)

I put in on top of a coffee mug & sent my tube directly above it. Played until I got drops that I wanted then added a bubble. Then found out that the "very little resistance" that the bubble gave the drop was still enough to need drop times adjusted. Definitely not for impatient people as myself.

It is just one photo. The black outlined areas are actually air bubbles I was blowing into the oil and water. The colors come from playing around in LR.

Sibil, you are getting this down to a (dare I say it?) ART. :-)

Thank you for your kind words. Even though I am getting the hang of this, I assure that for every good shot that I post, there are dozens of failed ones.

Another beautiful clean image. I can see these hanging on a wall as a gallery collection.
