Dragon

Saw this lizard preparing to pounce on an adjacent butterfly so got into position and set myself up to shoot the action.

What action?? Some guy comes up and scares off the butterfly. Grrrrrrr..

Lizzie then starts checking me out. After a while decides I am too big to handle and disappears into the bush.

Comments/suggestions always welcomed and appreciated. I want to improve.

My one concern with these shots is that the reflecting highlights could have been better controlled. What would you experts have done to deal with that?

Re the lighting - not sure if these are flash or strong natural light, if the latter you may have been able to use a CPL filter to reduce the reflection from leaves etc.

Great set of photos. Beautiful lizard. They are all really good in my opinion, and I can't nail down a favorite. I like the ones where he's peeking out, probably #5. I don't see much here that needs improvement.
