Awesome shots in conditions that you where uncomfortable with. I Particularly like the way that in #6 and #7 the flash gives a very white light for the bride and groom, but the lighting of the church gives the background a very warm and and romantic quality.

Very nice series of wedding shots. The lighting is excellent. Great job under tough conditions. You are to be congratulated.

Thanks guys!!! :)

Elisabeth-Ann, I live in northern Sweden, about 170 km south of the arctic circle. We do have "some" daylight in this area, but if you go above the arctic circle you don't see the sun for a few months. So it's bad up here... but it's also beautiful and just the other night I saw this absolutely gorgeous aurora borealis (northern light). In the summer we are blessed with daylight 24/7 instead, so it evens out a bit.

Petra, these are just gorgeous. I love the outdoor shots, in particulra #2, the best. It seems so stupid, but going from the cold outdoor shots to the inside shots, I expect them to be shivering. And I *know* better. :)

#13 is no flash at all. All natural light and some dodge/burn in Photoshop. :D

Having said yes to a wedding this time of year, I must be nuts. The sun sets at 1.16 PM and we were supposed to start shooting at 12.30 PM. The Bride and Groom was late. So just a few pictures outdoors in the snow and then we went inside to the church to take some photos there. I'm not a master with flashes, so there was a few problems there to. *sigh* I will never say yes to another winter wedding!

Väldigt fina bilder tycker jag. =o)
(Very nice pictures.)
I've only done one winter wedding and all the pictures had to be inside since the wedding started at 6pm. I've seen a few pictures taken outside winter time and I think they look so nice. You did a good job, I'm sure the couple are thrilled!
