I have this picture that I just adore that I took of my son and dog a while back and now that I'm learning photoshop I've been trying to fix it up, but jst don't know what to do. I know its not the greatest photo (taken with my old p & s camera)
anyone want to take a stab at it??

I think this is a great shot,,,, but I didn't have very good success, I couldn't get the blown out highlights under control ?? I hope someone knows how to do this for you. Good luck. Dennis

Applied a LOT of Shadow & Highlights correction in CS2, reduced red saturation, and sharpened. There's some blown-out areas - I can't do anything with them since there's no detail.

You can take my 100-400 L away when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

Just painted over some of the blown out areas with a faded brush with sampled skin tone. Helped some I guess.
