I got about 5DM3 40 mins of video and when I import to Final Cut X (with optimize video checked) I get the following error:

The following clip encountered an error during import and is still referencing media on the camera

This happens to the large clips about 3 to 4 gigs in size. I copied all the folders/files off the cards into a folder on the Desktop, then did the import from there.

I was concerned at first but let the import process complete. When I review the clips, it appears that everything was imported correctly.

I am wondering if this is a bug?

Thanks.
