On camera video light or similar?

Hey guys - can anyone recommend a video light or something similar that will fit on a hot shoe that would be useful for helping light dar wedding reception exits? I have a Lowell ID light, & it's ok, but I really want to try to find something that I don't have to set up on a stand (& risk a drunk or unawares guest tipping over). I assisted a photographer Sat. who had a great little Sunpak Readylite20, almost like a small little flashlight that can fit on the hot shoe or be handheld, & tho it didn't have a powerful ight, I liked that it had a round light beam so it didn't light up all the guests on the sides of the exit "tunnel". Unfortunatley I can't find it any where, afraid it might be discontinued. Any of you guys have something that works well for you?

You could just put a snoot or honeycomb grid on your flash though if it's just the shape you're looking for.

True but it won't give me the continuos light I want

I have a Youngnou video light (sp?), it has barn doors but they're useless if you're shooting against a flat featureless wall. They make weird light patterns. The LED lamp is quite focused anyway, there's not a lot of spilll, most light goes straight ahead.
