I have a little spot I know where the run goes through the countryside but it is still a struggle to lose as many 'new' things as possible.

Comments etc welcome

Those cars are awesome; I love that they run and aren't just garage queens!

This is a nice set of images on the run. Are they just being "bloody minded", or is there some compelling reason why they don't do this in the Summer?

I like these, particularly the black and white. Those folks are hard core!

Radial engines don't actually leak oil, by the way. They just mark their territory!

From the London to Brighton website -

The Royal Automobile Club's annual Veteran Car Run takes place on the first Sunday of every November and commemorates the Emancipation Run of 14 November 1896 which celebrated the passing into law of the Locomotives on the Highway Act, which raised the speed limit for 'light locomotives' from 4 mph to 14 mph and abolished the requirement for these vehicles to be preceded by a man on foot.

The real big problem with shooting this event is that there a lot of modern day traffic around and you will see that I have avoided getting any other cars in. Also the location is relatively free from modern day building and street furniture.

The following picture illustrates the modern car issue!
