^^^^Excellent. I seriously need to get myself a bigger BD. I have a small 16'' one. But,I use it to it's full potential.

I bought two of them back when the price was around $285 each. Never had a problem with either in the 2 years I've owned them. Flickr

When and where was it $285. Amazon has them for $320 and $350 depending on which vendor you buy from. 6D, 70D, Pancake lens, Nifty Fifty, Sigma 50 Art, Canon 135LL IS, YN560 III

Thorrulz Goldmember More info | Mar 14, 2013 21:25 | #67 OEC Camera on Ebay had the Mettle 600w AC/DC strobe first and was selling them with the battery pack included of course about 2 years ago. They no longer are selling the 600w strobe but are an excellent source for modifiers and other accessories for the mettle strobes. I also have the 150cm Octobox for mine. Flickr

Mar 15, 2013 06:51 | #69 Thanks. Which Octo dome fits the mettle strobe? I like the fact that it comes with the grid. Also, how easy or difficult is it to set up Octo? 6D, 70D, Pancake lens, Nifty Fifty, Sigma 50 Art, Canon 135LL IS, YN560 III

First time it can be a bit challenging until you figure out how it goes together, then it's easy after that. I was afraid of that. The fotodiox ez softboxes set up like umbrellas so Im leaning towards those when I pick up this strobe. 6D, 70D, Pancake lens, Nifty Fifty, Sigma 50 Art, Canon 135LL IS, YN560 III

Mar 15, 2013 08:19 | #73 Those are super easy to setup. That's the one I linked above that I still need to get rid of. It does take a little effort opening up the umbrella frame, but once opened, feels sturdy. Phillip - phillipwardphotography.com

One is the umbrella kind and the other is a traditional assembly. The difference is that one takes 20 seconds to open up and the other takes 4 minutes.
