SD850IS focus Issues.

Hey all.... Anyone have an older SD850 IS that worked great for a few years but now has lost its ability to focus when zooming? I do.. lol it focuses fine when I dont zoom or if im in macro mode, but soon as i zoom in on something, it wont get focus, and if I do get a green box (Meaning its got the focus) the photo is still OOF. Not overly worried but if its something easy or cheap to fix, im thinking of turning the cam into an IR camera.... Maybe.
Anyone have an issue and fix it?

I have 2 of them, one that I still use daily since I purchased it new when they first came out. So far no problems at all with focus or anything else. (I also have an S95 but still
love the features the 850 has that most all newer cameras don't, like time lapse video etc).

Id love to still use it but, it cant focus on zoom so its hard to use.. for macro or wide stuff its fine though...lol maybe as a dash cam it will work.... lol

Dash cam! Have to laugh cuz' I put my camera on the dash and set the time lapse video
mode going to capture a trip I took. It was funny to watch!

lol.. oh well... i can at least use if for "Macro on the go!" type stuff... lol I hate to throw it away cause other than that, it works fine and I love the image quality... esp. compared to the little sony i bought to replace it.
