I sat down here at my desk at 4:55EST and have had 3 calls from political organizations in the 20 minutes (caller ID/Google) and in the mail today there still was 5 political-type flyers. I have filled up the recycle bin about half way with political mailings over the last 3 weeks or so. Imagine what all that stuff cost... Michael

Nov 06, 2012 18:03 | #6 me too, i wasn't going to bother but there were a couple of local people i wanted to vote for. then i went for a nice chilly (39F) 21 mile bike ride. interesting observation, very few cars out and about.

Nov 06, 2012 18:10 | #8 The thing is, we in the states were so fed up with telemarketers calling us that the 'Do not call" list and law was created. I know election stuff is exempt. but you have to wonder why a candididate, who wants us to think he is 'in touch', would think its a good idea to make cold calls.
