Good luck with that, I voted by early mail-in ballot a week ago and we are still getting junk sent to the house and calls on the home phone.

As Gizmo said, good luck with that! I sat down here at my desk at 4:55EST and have had 3 calls from political organizations in the 20 minutes (caller ID/Google) and in the mail today there still was 5 political-type flyers. I have filled up the recycle bin about half way with political mailings over the last 3 weeks or so. Imagine what all that stuff cost...

This year I voted for the candidates who didn't advertise on TV or Radio, didn't send me junk mail, didn't send cronies out to my door to litter on my property and who were honest and upfront about issues and what they will do about them.

So yeah, I didn't vote for anyone.

The thing is, we in the states were so fed up with telemarketers calling us that the 'Do not call" list and law was created. I know election stuff is exempt. but you have to wonder why a candididate, who wants us to think he is 'in touch', would think its a good idea to make cold calls.

Nobody has called me. But then I don't have a land line. So no telemarketers or anyone calls me period.

We really should implement a "like" button like Facebook has...

It's over. My wife is no longer casing, packing and delivering political mail as of Monday.

Exit poll calls should stop now that polling locations are closed.

Honestly, it's been pretty quiet her tonight. And my wife made it home about 2:30 this afternoon. No more 10+ hour days until the holiday season takes shape.

So glad its not that bad over here.

I have never been canvassed, cold called or anything else near election time. We might get a couple of flyers but not in outrageous amounts.

Just thinking what the US elections cost and how much good that money could have done if not wasted on electioneering!

Our home phone comes up as private/unknown so we don't have to worry about that. In fact, we have yet to receive a sales call even. I got sick of it lol. I voted and made my voice heard, too.
