This is a roadsign in Cornwall, England, though drivers would be pressed to read it at speed! Happy 2006 everyone: here's hoping you find your own way through it ...

Crossed 3D stereo. Sit 2 or 3 feet from your monitor. The right eye looks at the left image and the left eye looks at the right image. Crossing eyes is minimal. Do not go bug-eyed. Relax. A central image will appear giving stereo depth. If you enjoy the effect why not type 3D into the search function to find other stereo postings from me.

(Taken with one camera with a sidestep's distance between shots.)

Very cool...Pretty soon you won't be able to read the signs at all.

Tryed to do something yesterday but where i was i just couldn`t find the right subject and the weather didn`t help either.

Thank's for your response, Dimitri! Practice on something stationary in unchallenging circumstances -- leave the more challenging shots for later. Getting the technicalities ironed out is the first stage!
