This is a roadsign in Cornwall, England, though drivers would be pressed to read it at speed! Happy 2006 everyone: here's hoping you find your own way through it ...

Crossed 3D stereo. Sit 2 or 3 feet from your monitor. The right eye looks at the left image and the left eye looks at the right image. Crossing eyes is minimal. Do not go bug-eyed. Relax. A central image will appear giving stereo depth. :D If you enjoy the effect why not type 3D into the search function to find other stereo postings from me. ;)

(Taken with one camera with a sidestep's distance between shots.)

I'm in awe again. Great shot with lots of depth levels.

Happy New Year to you too Balliolman. I look forward to another year of your excellent stereos. I hope to contribute some as well.

Again. . . . . . thanks for sharing. Those are so awesome to view.

Very cool...Pretty soon you won't be able to read the signs at all.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Thank's for your response, Dimitri! Practice on something stationary in unchallenging circumstances -- leave the more challenging shots for later. Getting the technicalities ironed out is the first stage! :D
