Thanks to the new version 10.3 of the DPP++ plugin , local adjustements are now possible with DPP. See the demo video.

See the demo video. Demo Video Link That's pretty cool, While I use DPP, I spend a lot more time with LR 4.2. I tried DPP++ a while back but didn't get into it. I wonder if the current version of the plug-in has any features either not in Lightroom at all or that work better than the Lightroom tools. Mark

Unfortunately, DPP doesn't offer some other features that exist in other softwares. So, DPP++ tries to complete DPP by adding some of these features such as blending several raw conversions of the same raw file and now local adjustements. I just realized you are in Paris and are the developer/owner of DPP++. I'm going to give it another look. When I tried the trial version last year I had some display issues, but perhaps I gave up too easily. Mark
