.... with his head. I was taking photos and he came running at me and misjudged the distance. His head was dinged but the lens was unscathed. No flash used for the photo..just the overhead light which makes him very golden colored.

He's a boy, they need battle scars :)

At least you were able to capture the moment. Do you have any with him running into you?

   And your handsome grandson too.   It's a wonderful shot Maureen. Nice and sharp and I happen to like the rich golden color tone.

Happy New Year. And here's to no more crashes this year. ;)

Poor guy. It just goes to show Canon builds them tough. And so do you. Nice shot, the golden color really compliments the photo.

What a priceless expression, He'll wear the mark proudly. ( heads heal, lenses don't)

I hate it when kids but out a hand all sticky with cake or something and plant it right on the front glass in your lens!

My sons used to hate seeing the camera come out of the bag because they knew I was after them. Now they love it because they are both hams. My fault, of course. Great capture, and I agree, kids need battle scars, and thank heavens you are a nurse. He is as adorable as ever and he should be reminded everyday that Grandma's camera should not be contented with. It will defend itself and scar him. ;)
