I know it's hard to believe, but sometimes we must just sit and read. This thing about curves and levels has me puzzled. Shot with the Nifty-Fifty 1.4. ISO800 and available light. When I have to go to the book it's a Kodak moment.

Now that's a sad commentary on this world - it's a Kodak moment. Does Kodak even make a decent camera these days? They used to.

We've got to change this lingo to something like - A shot that needs a Canon.

Nice image, great clarity and the lighting is really nice.

Dave I agree. Maybe we should start a sticky on what do we call that special moment. I guess I show my age. I think all Kodak makes are plug and shot stuff.

I spent a few hours at Borders looking through every book on CS and CS2 and IMO this book is the best for the photographer. You won't be disappointed.
Thanks for the nice comments Char and Dave.

It seems like the only books at our house are photography books and software books. :)

Incidently, the lens commonly referred to as the "nifty fifty" is the 50mm f/1.8 .

Of course, if it's your lens, I guess you can call it whatever you want. ;)

I have so many posts including the 1.4 as the nifty fifty. So maybe Curtis we should call the 50/1.4 the spiffy-fifty:lol:  . Our house has the same problem from the NAPP stuff, PS books and photography mags there's know place to put Good Housekeeping.
