Summer and Winter

Taken from the same viewpoint only slightly altered in the winter version because of the drab sky.

Spectacular falls, and photos. Interesting that water flow is much greater in winter.

Cool pics.

I've thought about doing something like that for all 4 seasons but never seem to get to the same location. Lazy I guess.

Nice shots, but like Stan, how come there's more flow in winter than summer?

I would have thought it would be obvious - the water table is always higher in winter than in summer because of more rainfall.

Certainly not the case here or other places I've lived, so no not "obvious" at all.

Right David , the shots are both superb to start with , but i`m not happy for 2 ressons...

a. where are these waterfalls?
b. how high (apr.) are they?

This link will give you some facts and the location of the fall - it's reputed to be the largest unbroken fall in England at 21 metres.
