Ok

I have a G12 with a 430 flash right now.

I like the sx260hs a lot,

I take a lot of pictures in different places so I like the GPS feature in the 260 and I also like the long zoom.

Question is, do I trade in the G12 and get the 260 or bite the bullet and just buy the 260?


What would some of you guys do? and if you can give me some feedback on the 260 that would be great.

Just don't think I need 2 compact cameras.

I've got the predecessor, the SX230HS... while it's a decent little camera, the image quality is "meh" at best... I bought a S100 to replace it, but haven't gotten time to really play around with it yet.

Canon 5dmkIII, Sigma 15mm f/2.8FE; 35mm f/1.4; Canon EF70-200 f/2.8L IS II; --- YN560 x 7
I'm not a professional photographer, and I don't want to be.
