why are they so expensive compared to other bounce flashes? its it because they are off the camera flashes??

So can other flashes with radio triggers. Canon speedlites are expensive because people are willing to pay the price for them. They're higher quality and have more features (High-Speed Sync is a big one) that others don't have. "Everything will be alright. I'm from the government and I'm here to help."
