The Canon 70-200 2.8 non-IS model?

And is there any drawback to buying an imported model?

I just ordered one yesterday from www.bhphoto.com (external link) . The drawbacks to buying imported models are ... 1) these don't qualify for rebates in the USA. 2) Problems with warranty.

When buying from B & H, isn't there usually only a small price difference between buying imported and USA?
