First time visit to the Conowingo Dam, MD was quite spectacular. I was lucky enough to squeeze shutter in right time

Very good series of shots. Was this with the TC also? Just wondering how the 400 5.6 and TC work with the 1d4. I am really considering a used 1D4 and TC combo with my 400 5.6.

Yes, I did use 1.4 TC. I was quite sure that 400 alone on the 1d would be only good for close encounters, but not good enough for distances at Conowingo
I prefer not to use TC with my copy of ef400 5.6, due to loss of sharpness. IMHO they don't
like each other
