First time visit to the Conowingo Dam, MD was quite spectacular. I was lucky enough to squeeze shutter in right time :)

Very good series of shots. Was this with the TC also? Just wondering how the 400 5.6 and TC work with the 1d4. I am really considering a used 1D4 and TC combo with my 400 5.6.


7D / 70-200 F4L IS / 400 5.6L / 50mm 1.8 / 18-55 Kit / CS5 plus other software.

Yes, I did use 1.4 TC. I was quite sure that 400 alone on the 1d would be only good for close encounters, but not good enough for distances at Conowingo ;)
I prefer not to use TC with my copy of ef400 5.6, due to loss of sharpness. IMHO they don't
like each other :rolleyes:
